Jesus calls us to be Holy,
From this restless, hurting world,
As we hear His Sweet Voice again,
Saying, "My Child, I'm in your pain."

"All I want to do is love you,
And gather you around My knees,
I'm in your joy and in your sorrow,
Child, I'm with you all the while."

"In My arms I will cradle you,
Though your hearts are breaking,
As the dark shadows fall,
I'm with you still, I gave My All."

"I hear you My children crying,
Hurting souls in deep despair,
Oh the lonely hearts that are grieving,
Life here seems so unfair."

Many times so tossed and driven,
On the restless sea of time,
Trials here we cannot understand,
Not until we reach the Promise Land.

By and by, life will be over,
With all the shadows rolled away,
We'll sing of our wonderful Saviour,
On that happy, happy, golden day.

God does come to us who weep,
He draws us close and holds our hand,
He enfolds us in His loving care,
And hears and answers every prayer.
