I just can't wait to see you in Heaven
You'll be waiting near the gate,
Oh what a glad reunion,
With our loved ones we shall meet.
On this earth it's so many heartaches
And life seems so unfair,
Little did I know that day God would call you home
It broke our hearts into, but you did not go alone.
Oh, I just can't wait to see you
In your mansion on Heavens shore,
Where the gates are trimmed with pearl,
And we will never part no more.
I see you in your Robe of white
And I think of all you shared,
How you longed to go to Heaven,
Now God is tenderly drying my tears.
Oh we miss you more than words can say
Still in shock as we think of that aweful day,
So many times I have asked God why?
He says, you was weary and could not stay.
Each time I think of all our memories,
I thank God for the many years,
It will help us get through all hurt and pain,
Until one glorious day, Heaven we'll gain.
