My Toy Store
I'd like to own a toy store,
And I'll hang Barbie by the door.
I'll stack red drums up on shelves,
And right below them tiny elves.
I'll hang costumes in a row,
And surprise boxes right below.
Easter bunnies will come around,
Throwing candies to the ground.
Skipping ropes and bouncy balls,
Dolls and teddies big and tall.
Make-up and jewelry, little girl toys,
Hockey sticks and cars, toys for boys.
Singing flowers and talking fish,
Anything a kid could wish.
I hope you come and see my store,
And jingle the bell on the door.

Adventures Of A Balloon
The balloon he got tired
Of just hanging around.
He thought about the fun he’d have
If he were on the ground.
So the next time the kids played with him,
He pushed himself away.
He flew away up to the sky
Looking for another way.
He tried to be an apple,
So he changed himself to red.
But oh it really hurt
When someone bit him on the head.
He tried to be a soccer ball,
Getting kicked too and fro.
But he was afraid that he might pop,
So he thought that he should go.
Next he tried to be an eyeglass,
But he was much too big.
So he left on his merry way,
And then he met a pig.
The pig chased him around and around,
Through rows and rows of wheat.
Through the fields and around the house,
And up and down the street.
Then they stopped to take a rest
Beneath a big oak tree.
Then home he went a green balloon,
And that’s all he wanted to be!
