I discovered a wonderful, delightful thing called Mocha while
living up in the mountains of northern California. I had never
heard of such a thing before! But with one sip, I was hooked
!! I now have the joy of making my own in my own home and have
even made them for friends and family who stop by for a visit. Here
are a few favorite recipes as well as a few links I hope will be helpful
to you!
~Ice Cube Coffee~
Brew coffee and let cool. Fill ice trays with coffee and let freeze.
(This is a great idea when you make a pot of coffee
& have a good amount left over)
~Iced Coffee~
Pour freshly brewed coffee over coffee ice cubes (see
above)
and add milk and sugar to taste.
~Iced Cappuccino~
Same as above only replace milk with steamed milk.
~Dessert Shake~
Place ice cube coffee in blender & add 2 to 3 scoops of chocolate
ice cream.
Blend. Serve with whipped cream & chocolate shavings.
(or sprinkle with cinnamon!)
~Spanish Coffee~
Add a tablespoon of ground cinnamon to a pot of coffee then brew.
Or, add 1 or 2 cinnamon sticks to a cup of freshly brewed
coffee and let steep. To sweeten, add brown sugar to taste.
~Cafe Glace~
In a latte cup or a bowl, pour espresso or strong coffee over
large scoops of ice cream. Serve immediately.
