Here, is a page devoted to my hubby, the handsome one, the Captain of the Castleberry Ship, the one who knows at least a little bit about everything...(drumroll please)... James Sr !! (Yes, folks, this page is being created by the wife and helpmeet of the one steering the
Castleberry Ship, Rebekah! ) I wouldn't want you all to think my hubby was conceited now would I??
So, what has he been up to lately??
He recently had lung surgery (November 2005) and is recovering well.
At the risk of being mushy and making you all queasy I have to say that marrying James was the second best decision I have ever made (well, second only to my decision to ask Jesus into my heart and life of course!) I can't believe we have been together for 12 years already! Wow! That's almost half of my lifetime for crying out loud!! You know, I was just thinking the other day about how I have spent almost half of my life with him. What a treasure. I just can't help loving him a little more each day. I can't wait to grow old and gray beside him. I pray with all my heart that God will allow that to happen. I never realized how much you could take a person for granted, even one you're in love with, until I almost lost my husband about a year and a half ago. I now realize that the once annoying things really aren't important at all and we've learned to try to enjoy every moment we spend together and treat every day as if it is our last. That has helped us through what would have been many rough rides. I am blessed to have him as my husband and I pray that I can be a blessing to him each day.
