Our theme for summer 2008: "THE SUMMER GAMES '08 on the ISLAND" OLYMPIAD I entering grades 5-6 -- July 6-9 OLYMPIAD II entering grades 7-9 -- July 10-13 OLYMPIAD III entering grades 10-12 -- July 15-18 OLYMPIAD IV entering grades 10-12 -- July 19-22 Our summer youth retreat is located in our historic Fellowship House on beautiful Fishers Island, NY. The island is reached by a 45 minute ferry trip out of New London, CT. The House served as officers quarters in W.W.I and W.W.II. It has a full kitchen, two dining rooms, an activity room, eight bedrooms - each of which sleep 4 on two bunk beds. During Summer Youth Retreats, room assignmentrs are made by the Director after careful consideration. Our fully qualified and enthusiastic team of staff includes the Director, and R.N., a minister, and 3 adult counselors for every 10 youth. There is EMT service and a physician's office on the island. Parents will be contacted if any medical attention is needed. Registrations are accepted on a first come first served basis.We recommend you send your application and deposit to hold your place AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IT IS OUR EXPERIENCE THAT ALL SESSIONS OF THIS CAMP FILL UP VERY QUICKLY. All applications and deposits must be received by the 6th of June. Upon receipt of your application and deposit, you will receive a fact sheet with ferry schedule, things to pack list, and health form.
