In the
beginning God made a perfect, sinless world.
Gen 1 v 1 In the
beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned,) and created the heavens and
the earth, [Heb. 11:3,] 2) The earth was without form and an empty waste,
and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was
moving, (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. 3) And God said, Let
there be light; and there was light.
4) And God saw the
light, that it was good ---- suitable, pleasing --- and He approved it;
and God separated the light from the darkness. [2nd Cor, 4:6,] 5) And God called
the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there
was morning, one day. 6) And God said, Let there be a firmament [the expanse of
the sky] in the midst of the waters; and let it separate the waters [below] from
the waters [above}.
7) And God made the
firmament (the expanse) and separated the waters which were under the expanse
from the waters which were above the expanse. And it was so. 8) And God called
the firmament Heavens. And there was evening and there was morning, a second
day.
9) And God said, Let
the waters under the heavens be collected into one place (of standing), and let
the dry land appear. And it was done. 10) God called the dry land Earth, and the
accumulated waters He called Seas. And God saw that this was good --- admirable,
fitting --- and He approved it.
11) And God said,
Let the earth put forth (tender) vegetation, plants yielding seed, and the fruit
trees yielding fruit each according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, upon
the earth. And it was so. 12) The earth brought forth vegetation, plants
yielding seed according to their own kind, and trees bearing fruit in which was
their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good ---
suitable, admirable --- and He approved it.
13) And there was
evening and there was morning, a third day
14) And God said,
Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the
night; and let them be for signs and tokens [of God's provident care],
and [to mark] seasons, days, and years. [Gen. 8:22]

What
about evolution?
Surely
science has proved that everything came in to existence without the need
of a god.
True
science has proved that evolution is impossible, it couldn't even get
started. The
necessity of a Creator has been proven using the known laws of scientific
FACTS, not speculative fiction. Why is this knowledge not generally made
known? 7

Common sense tells us it is more
plausible that an all powerful Creator God brought everything there is,
in to existence. Compare this to the evolutionists current theory:
"Nothing, NOTHING, exploded with a big bang. Then by its purposeless, designer less
self, evolved in to the complexity and order we see today.
No intelligent
designer caused this to happen, because there is none. There is no God, no
reason, no purpose to life. Everything there is being shear random chance
culminating with death as
the final end.
And who
is trying to fill the vacuum left by the promotion of atheistic
belief?

The Fall

God created the
first human being and named him Adam. God said:
"It is not good for the man to be alone, I will provide a partner for
him." The Lord God put the man (Adam) in to a trance, and and whilst he
slept He took one of his ribs and closed the flesh over the place. (It is now
known the rib is the only bone in the body that if removed, will normally grow
straight back again.) The Lord God then built up the rib, and formed the first
woman, who was named Eve. (Mother of all living)
God did not want
Adam & Eve and later mankind in general, to be just puppets that were
forced to obey Him, but He rather they chose to love Him and do His will feely
and of their own volition. He thus gave Adam & Eve free will, the ability to
choose between what is right, and what is wrong.
God told Adam
he was free to eat of any of the fruits in the Garden of Eden
in which they lived, but the fruit of one tree, the Tree of Life, they must not
eat of. Unfortunately, in fact devastatingly for all mankind, Eve was tempted by
the devil, (an angel that had rebelled against God) and was persuaded to eat of the forbidden
fruit.
Eve gave
some of the fruit to Adam who also ate of it. Hence, they both
disobeyed God, and sin came in to the world. Because of that act of
disobedience, sin is a disease we all have. Evil, wrong and sin are in the life
of everyone born in to the world for Eve is the mother of all living.
The
culpability to sin has been passed down through every generation. We are born in
to sin. It is part of
our very nature. All
mankind is alienated from
God because of that original sin. The, at first perfect creation, is now a
decaying, fallen world. Evil, wrong and sin are in the life of everyone. We are
separated from God by sin and we cannot atone for that sin ourselves. None of us is
perfect. "There are none righteous,
no, not one." But God in His love made the way for us to be acceptable to
Him.
What
Is A Born Again (Saved) Christian?
A person that has genuinely accepted
the perfect Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, as their personal Saviour and Lord. He
alone atoned for the sins of mankind. Only He is sinless.
How
did they do that?
They asked Him
to forgive them for all their sins and to come into their hearts and lives through a believing prayer.
Why?
The Bible
Says: "I
assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again
(anew, from above), he cannot ever see -- know, be acquainted with [and
experience] -- the kingdom of God." ... John
3: 3 Amplified Bible
The Way
of Salvation.
John
3:16 Amplified Bible: For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the
world that He [even] gave up His only-begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever
believes in (trusts, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish - come to
destruction, be lost - but have eternal (everlasting) life.
Our
Lord Jesus, God's Son has completely bridged the gap between God and man on our behalf. Those of us that gratefully
accept God's wondrous plan of salvation, no matter how evil they have
been, will not come up for the unsaved judgement. On a human level we may feel
completely unworthy, but God's holy righteous justice has been satisfied
in Jesus,
at tremendous cost.
Jesus
is the perfect Son of God. He died a terrible death by crucifixion in
order that we who come to Him and accept Him as our Saviour and Lord, will
be saved for all eternity. God so loves us that He sent His only begotten
son Jesus to pay the ultimate price for all our sins and secure our
salvation.
Those
who accept Jesus as their personal saviour are seen as holy and righteous
because He is holy and righteous. There is nothing any of us can do to
improve or add to that fact. Good works are the fruits of salvation,
not the means of producing it.
For
God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even]
gave up His only-begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in
(trusts, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish -- come to
destruction, be lost -- but have eternal (everlasting) life. John

Three
days after His death He rose again from the dead. Death was conquered. The
power of sin was defeated. He visibly made Himself known as many witnessed
and testified to. After He ascended into heaven He sent the Holy Spirit
for the benefit and empowering of those who have believed and accepted Him
as their Lord.
God
has given us completely free will to accept Jesus, or reject Him. He did
not create puppets but gave us free choice. Those of
us who accept Jesus as their own personal Saviour and Lord, have had their
sins completely washed clean by His precious blood. Those who have not are
still under the power of sin and will come up for judgement.
I
sometimes go to church!
Many
do, that care little about Christ
We
go to church to worship Him, fellowship with other believers and learn about
Him. Nevertheless, knowing about Him is not the same as actually knowing Him
personally. Entering a church does not make one a Christian. This can only
be achieved by being born again, a new birth, a spiritual birth.
The
Bible teaches that salvation is in the person and work of the Lord Jesus
Christ. The Scripture teaches that in order to be saved we must place our
trust in Christ. We must believe that He is the Son of God the only
Saviour, and that He died in our place at the cross, bearing our sin and
the eternal penalty for our sin.
John 1:12-13-- "But as many as received Him (Christ) to
them gave He the power to become the sons of God, even to them that
believe on His name: Which were born, NOT of blood, NOR of the will of the
flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
