The Erring Christian
The establishment of the Jewish State of Israel, Prophesied! Happened on May 15th 1948. The resulting Middle East Conflict was also accurately foretold. Check out Bible Prophecy Sites by Chuck Missler, Hal Lindsey & Jack Van Impe. The Holy Land There is no doubt the Holy Land and in particular Jerusalem is a special place in the eyes of God. There is no doubt also that His people, the Jews are the most persecuted of all races. It is also a fact that after Christ there is "Neither Greek nor Jew, Bond nor Free." However, the Jews also will come to know "Him whom they pierced" as their Saviour & Lord. God has not finished with Israel. We who have accepted Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour, are grafted in to the Jewish root irrespective of nation, race or colour. Suggested reading all of Romans Chapter Eleven. Romans 11 : 17 - 18 Amplified Bible But if some of the (Jewish) branches were broken off, while you, (Gentile) a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them to share the richness [of the root and sap] of the olive tree, (18) Do not boast over the branches and pride yourself at their expense. If you do boast and feel superior, remember it is not you that support the root, but the root (The Jews) [that supports] you. End Time Prophecies The only viable explanation for the complexities of the universe, and life itself is contained in the Judaeo/Christian Bible "The Holy Bible." Attacked & despised, never disproved, the Bible has stood the test of time. Statements made in it are constantly being proven. From the archaeologists discovery of hidden artefacts, long ago mentioned, to the end time prophecies telling of the establishment of the Jewish state of Israel and the resulting middle east conflict. From our Lord's fore telling of the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, (which happened 70 years later when Titus was Roman Emperor) to the 300 odd prophecies concerning Himself made hundreds of years before He was born. Even telling of the way He would die when crucifixion was not heard of. All the prophecies fulfilled to the letter. From the end time prophecies which include the documented increase in famines and earthquakes: Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. To the state of the world just prior to His coming again: 2ndTimothy3:1-4 Amplified Bible But understand this, that in the last days there will set in perilous times of great stress and trouble - hard to deal with and hard to bear. 2) For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self - centred, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate (greedy) desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters, They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffers), disobedient to parents, un-grateful, unholy and profane. 3) [They will be] without natural (human) affection (callous and inhuman), relentless - admitting of no truce or appeasement. [They will be] slanderers - false accusers, trouble makers; intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good. 4) [They will be] treacherous (betrayers), rash [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God. ………… |

Amen - so be it. [Jer. 2:11.] 26) For this reason God gave them over and abandoned them to vile affections and degrading passions. For their women exchanged their natural function for an unnatural and abnormal one; 27) And the men also turned from natural relations with women and were set ablaze (burned out, consumed) with lust for one another, men committing shameful acts with men and suffering in their own bodies and personalities the inevitable consequences and penalty of their wrong doing and going astray, which was [their] fitting retribution. 28) And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do things not proper or decent but loathsome; 29) Until they were filled - permeated and saturated - with every kind of unrighteousness, iniquity, grasping and malice. [They were} secret backbiters and gossipers, 30) Slanderers, hateful to and hating God, full of insolence, arrogance [and] evil, disobedient and undutiful to parents. 31) [They were] without understanding, conscienceless and faithless, heartless and loveless [and] merciless. 32) Though they are fully aware of God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them themselves but approve and applaud others who practice them. |

666 Some Bible Scholars quite legitimately make valid speculations on the interpretation of bible prophecy. With the "New World Order" coming in to place at an alarming rate, there is much evidence to support their views. The classic! "666" the mark of the beast, for example. Whilst it does seem feasible, in fact probable that in order to "buy or sell" the mark given will be in the form of a microchip (smart card type implant), only time will tell whether this will actually be the case. Some of these interesting but still speculative sites are listed on this site and well worth browsing. It is not necessary for us to duplicate their content. Bible Prophecy is a specialist subject in it's own right and such exponents as Jack Van Impe, Hal Lindsey and Chuck Missler are far better equipped to deal with the subject in the depth it deserves, than we are. As such, typing in the respective names on your search engine, is strongly recommended. |

| Bible Prophecy like all of God's word is accurate and is well worthy of study. However, there are sects even cults that do miss-interpret Biblical Prophecy to accord with their own propaganda. So much so that despite the fact that in it's own right, it is a great evangelistic tool, there can be connotations with some sects which many sincere Bible Believing churches do not wish to be associated with. | |
