The God Who is There
God is The Alpha & Omega, the beginning and the end. Nothing came in to existence without Him and without Him was nothing made. I Believe in God My name is John and I believe in the Judaeo Christian God. I believe in Him on a logical down to earth basis as the answer to life, and I have known Him experientially to. I do not believe we are a product of random impersonal chance. I do not accept that the code for the extremely complex DNA, the building blocks of all life, could just happen by itself. I believe the Holy Bible is God's communication to mankind. It provides not only the true answer to existence, but the only answer that make any sense.
God is Love God is perfect and we are not. The great cloud of sin has separated us from knowing God, it has alienated us from Him and God will not compromise with sin. He won't even look on it, it is completely abhorrent to Him.
God, the Creator, loves His creation and He loves us. He is unwilling that any should perish, but rather they spend eternity with Him. But that desire does not get us to heaven, sin has separated us from God.
I know it's unpopular these days to speak of sin and in many instances the word has fallen in to disuse altogether. Nevertheless it is a scriptural term and unless we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour and Lord, we will die in our sin. God so loves us that He made a plan for our salvation that does not compromise His perfect holiness.
He gave his only begotten perfect Son the Lord Jesus Christ, to die for our sins on our behalf. Jesus took our sins on His perfect self. The just, righteous, Holy Son of God shed His precious blood as a once and for all payment for our sins. God's righteous justice is satisfied, entirely, completely and for all eternity through Jesus' death and resurrection.

Introduction Quite frankly, I was getting in a bit of a mess before I was saved, just didn't know where to turn. The fear of the consequences of my sins, could have caused a lot of problems, and they became an increasing worry. So even my motive in asking Jesus in to my life, was not very good. I had come to realize my need of salvation for some time beforehand, but had not made it a high priority, kept putting it off. There are always many things that will sidetrack us from getting saved. Eventually I had to acknowledge I was a sinner and that sin would condemn me for all eternity. I reached the point when I knew I was completely lost and subsequently gave my life to God. I asked His perfect Son to come in to my heart and asked His forgiveness for my sins. In real sincerity to, no messing about when eternity's at stake. I was accepted just as I was in my sinful state on the strength of His word, didn't even have to try to earn His forgiveness, it was a completely free gift. How can you not love a God like that? Jesus took all my sins on Himself, suffered and died for them so I would not be condemned. My sin which originally alienated me from God, had been dealt with at the cross, I was assured of eternal salvation. Nothing of an experiential nature happened during my confession, but as the weeks passed by, many mini miracles took place in my life. (My Story in Testimony) Now I am seen as clean in God's site. Holy and righteous in fact, absolutely perfect. Not so much as a blemish on me. Not because of anything I have done, or could ever do to earn so great a salvation, I mean, how could I? But God sees His perfect Son Jesus as having taken all my sins, on Himself. What about that? Is that love, or is that LOVE? Now I am completely sin free, and thus, completely free. No wonder the Bible says, "If the Spirit makes you free, you are free indeed." Thing is, because He so loves me, I can't help loving Him back. Certainly don't want to cause Him deliberate hurt. But even so, whilst still acknowledging Him as my Father Almighty, and so grateful for my salvation, I am prone to do suspect things at times. Sometimes the price that was actually paid for my salvation, is pushed to the back of my mind. Sooner or later, I always return to His safe keeping. He is so merciful, just defies understanding. By human standards, when we do wrong, we usually reap the rewards of our wrong doing. But with God, the price has already been paid, and He honours that. As in the parable of the prodigal son, He welcomes me back with open loving arms. When God looks at me, even if I am engaged in an un Christian activity, He sees that his perfect sacrifice on my behalf, has been accepted, lovingly accepted, sincerely accepted. Jesus alone paid the price for all my sins. Even common sense would say you don't reject a gift like that. But! I suspect what you may be thinking; If I get saved then, I can do just as I like without any consequences. Yes? No. All sin can have consequences, eternal consequences if you are not saved. And in this life even, sin causes problems let alone unhappiness eventually. In fact sin can so bind you up, that you will not know where to turn. Heard the expression, "trapped in sin?" Believe me, it's true. Fortunately we have an Almighty and most merciful God, who loves us. He is still there irrespective of wishful thinking by some. We are talking about the God of creation here, not an illusionary vague definition of an impersonal, uncaring force. He is our heavenly Father, and we can talk to Him in our prayers, experience not only His presence, but He can, and will work miracles in our lives. We can often feel His comfort, and know the assurance of His presence. With as little faith as a grain of mustard seed, He still acknowledges it. But by the same token, God is not mocked. He is not simply a tool to be used at our beck and call. A supernatural power that is there simply to do our bidding. We can't flirt with God, and we can't fool with God. Yes, I've even been down that road to during the 40 odd years since I see the light. Sometimes I have consistently and deliberately kept on in a particular vice, making light of my confession, and that, despite knowing the price that was paid for my salvation. As such, there have been times when God eventually has had to discipline me, but even then it was in love, never anger. The discipline, and I have no reason to suppose I am unique in this, always proved FOR MY OWN GOOD. When God disciplines His erring Christians, it can be very severe. Sometimes right up to the point pf absolute desperation. But, even in that discipline, I was ever very conscious of the love He has for me. And I am a person that takes a lot of convincing. Ultimately without exception, discipline has always proved beneficial and strengthened my faith even more. God knows I can't be truly happy, unless I am living in accord with His will. And He desires my happiness and my company in eternity. Contrary Doctrine The Bible makes it plain, we are not saved by works. (What good we do) There is nothing we can do to add to what God, through Jesus, has already done for us. We can't make up for our sins our selves. We cannot earn our salvation. You see, false doctrine that implies we need to earn our way in to heaven, is what's been added by man. More for the benefit of society I suspect. Good works are the fruits of salvation, not the means of producing it. The Bible states: "If we could be saved by keeping the law, (the ten commandments and other laws that God gave) then Christ died needlessly." "Therefore He is able to save to the uttermost --- completely, perfectly, finally and for all time and eternity." (Verse Below) Nothing Unique About Me! The knowledge of the price that was paid for my salvation, has actually made me humble and grateful, not proud as might be assumed from some of the above paragraphs. I am a sinner saved by grace alone through our Lord's great mercy. Millions have come to know our Saviour & Lord. And I pray you will to. It is so essential to understand just what God has done for us, such is the importance of knowing the truth about GRACE. God loves us all. Jesus died not just for my sins, but for your sins also. But if you do not accept God's free gift, you are still in sin, and sin, will condemn you for all eternity. |

John 3 : 16-18 (Such is the importance, the full translation of the text ) ... But he who does not believe (not cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already; (he has already been convicted; has already received his sentence) because he has not believed on and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. --- He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ's name. Do You Know Where You Are Going? I hope and pray you will get saved for whether Sex Worker? Porn Star or Prostitute? even if you think you are a pretty good person, sin has condemned you. But it needn't remain that way, Jesus loves YOU. He wants you to come to Him, just as you are, exactly as you are, and be saved for all eternity. And if you should be under the mis-apprehension that unless you live a good Christian life after salvation, (and that is desirable) and if you don't, you have blown it, take a look at My Testimony . Also: 7 "Therefore He is able to save to the uttermost --- completely, perfectly, finally and for all time and eternity --- those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and for them."
