~* Trust in the LORD With All Thine Heart *~
Jennifer M. Seest 1966 - Present
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5 & 6
This spiritual song is quoted from the verse above...from God's Holy Word. It was included in a series of Christian allegories for youth that I am in the process of
writing entitled "Kingdom Psalms". With a setting in the early 1400's, "Kingdom Psalms" tell the story of a young princess awaiting her beloved bridegroom's rise to the
throne of their kingdom. But the time between "A Royal Wedding" and "A Coronation" is filled with allegorical tales of knights, servants, enemies, fair maidens in
distress...all pointing to the LORD and our goal of living the victorious Christian life.
Although it was first written for "Kingdom Psalms", I hope this medieval genre
scripture song truly brings this verse to life for the hearer, reminding us through exquisitely beautiful melody and harmony to trust in the LORD!

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
Lean not unto thine own understanding,
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
With all thine heart, trust in the LORD.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall surely direct thy paths.
O trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
With all thine heart, trust in the LORD.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
Lean not unto thine own understanding,
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
With all thine heart, trust in the LORD.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall surely direct thy paths.
O trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
With all thine heart, trust in the LORD.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
With all thine heart, trust in the LORD.

*For Today*: Psalm 4:5, 40:3, 73:28, 115:11, 118:8, 125:1
Can you trust in Him, holding nothing back, knowing He knows what is best for you?
