Life began in a garden....
Even as a little girl I loved FLOWERS!!
Here I am (about 30 years ago!!)
with one of Momma's white irises!
In my garden, I have SEVERAL beautiful irises
planted!!
Little Lydia loves flowers, too!!!
Summer Y2K
If I had to choose a favorite flower...NO!
I can't limit it to one!
Frankly, I even find some of God's "weeds"
to be quite lovely!
Daniel is always teasing me about liking
morning glories...
to the point of planting them *_*
They ARE weeds to him!
BUT, he just bought me 2 packets
to plant around our fence in the Spring!!
(Can't help loving that man of mine!!)
Some FAVORITES are:
obviously, VIOLETS, both purple ones
& white ones with purple tips *_*;
white roses with pink tips
& pink roses;
and purple irises.

Spring '87
She brought "Son-shine" into many lives.
The kiss of the sun for pardon,
The song of the birds for mirth;

This is my idea of SPRING!!!
Growing up in Florida,
one of the most lovely floral displays was that of the azalea,
with the dogwood accenting like baby's breath!

Funny thing:
We had a 6 foot tall privacy fence around the perimeter of our backyard from '99-'02,
and the portion of fence nearest our back porch
is COVERED with wisteria vine!!
I was SOOO excited to see it bloom,
but when I got back from vacation,
there was only one flower!!!
Or so I thought...
All the blooms were on
the OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE!!
Bloom where you're planted!

FOR THE GARDEN OF YOUR DAILY LIVING
PLANT THREE ROWS OF PEAS:
1. Peace of mind

PLANT FOUR ROWS OF SQUASH:
1. Squash gossip
2. Squash indifference
3. Squash grumbling
4. Squash selfishness
PLANT FOUR ROWS OF LETTUCE:
1. Lettuce be faithful
2. Lettuce be kind
3. Lettuce be patient
4. Lettuce really love one another
NO GARDEN IS WITHOUT TURNIPS:
1. Turnip for meetings
2. Turnip for service
3. Turnip to help one another
TO CONCLUDE OUR GARDEN WE MUST HAVE THYME:
1. Thyme for each other
2. Thyme for family
3. Thyme for friends
WATER FREELY WITH PATIENCE AND CULTIVATE WITH LOVE. THERE IS MUCH FRUIT IN YOUR GARDEN BECAUSE YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.
