The first time I heard this song, I fell in love with it.
It was on a favorite Christmas CD of mine. Although the words were in
Latin, I suspected they were exalting Mary in a way that would
dishonor her...and her divinely conceived and sinless Son.
So, I have written a song to honor Jesus' mother by honoring,
worshipping, and praising her Son, His Father, and the blessed
Holy Spirit--the LORD JEHOVAH!
LORD, we praise Your name!
You have blessed us with Your love!
You sent Your Son from above.
Christ our Savior died upon the tree
To save the world from sin and shame;
Now we'll praise Your holy name!
Thanks belongs to You, and
We will praise You all our days!
Dear Father, we love You!
O Jesus, we love You!
And Spirit of God: we thank You, Comforter!
We will praise JEHOVAH God!
You have given light where all was dark,
Eternal God, we daily lift our hearts to praise You...
