I CHOSE YOU
John 15:16. "Ye have not chose me,
but I have chosen you, and ordained you that ye should go and bring forth
fruit; and that your fruit remain; that whatsoever ye sahll ask of the
father in my name he may give it you. "
Chosen in the greek comes from Gomer
(gomer) means completion
Ordained in the greek comes from the
word nadar (naw-dar) it means to promise; to make a vow.
fruit in the greek comes from chanat
(khaw-nat) means to put forth
The Lord showed me that we are all
chosen of Him. God created us to serve him. He chose to give us a free will
to love him or not to. God does not need us to praise him or to worship
Him, that is what the angels are for. God chose us to spread the gospel
to the lost so they may be saved. God chose us to love Him, and to serve
him. It should be an honor to us , not a chore, to praise and worship God.
God chose us to do His work for him.
That means that he loves and cares for us very much. God is looking for
the meek, humble and willing to go forth and spread the word that Jesus
Christ is Lord.
And example God gave me of a chosen
vessel was David. In 1st Samual 16, the Lord sent Samuel to annoint one
of Jessies children. Well at first Samuel thought it would be the oldest,
then the strongest. He went through each one that had great qualities.
But God was not looking for someone that could do it in his own strenth,
God was looking for the humblest son. After Samuel went through all that
was there, he asked Jessie if he had another son. Jessie was amazed that
the chosen son to do God work was the youngest and the weakest in mans
eyes. Samuel then annointed David.
David was used in many ways through
out his time.
When you read and study out the apostles,
they were not what we would think to be perfect good citizens. They had
faults and unbelieves, but they were willing to follow the Lord and do
his work. They counted it an honor to Glorify the Lord.
God has done so much for me, that
I could not make it without Him. And just to know we are a chosen people
to serve him, it is awesome.
When God created us, he gave us a
soul, not the animals, the birds or fish, but humans. We have a wonderful
opportunity to serve and praise the Lord!!!
