THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HATH MADE

(Psa 118:24 KJV) This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
How do you wake up every morning? Do you wake up with a song on your heart rejoicing that God has blessed you with another day? OR--do you wake up dreading what lies ahead for the day?

The Lord has been showing me that now matter what this life holds for us, NO MATTER WHAT we are facing, we should be REJOICING!!

The word rejoice means --- to be glad , be joyful!!!!

We should be getting up out of bed with a song of praise, a prayer rejoicing that God has allowed us to have another day!!!

When things are going great, it is easy to rejoice- we have no problem praise God when we have food on the table, bills are paid, and we are healthy, AND that is all good that we can praise God then ----- BUT OH when the trials come our way, -- what is the firt thing we normally say, WHY ME LORD!! I cant bear this trial, this hurts too much, why am i going through this sickness, why are my bills not getting paid? we start speaking cursings by doubting God.

(James 3:10 KJV) Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and
cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

When we begin to day things like this depresses me, or why me, we are curisng ourselves to continue to go through the trial til we get it,til we realize, that

(1 Cor 10:13 KJV) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

The more we belly ache and complain, the more we cause ourselves to go through the battle,and we are making the enemy happy, Do you want satan to go to God on your behalf and say, see I told you that he/ she was weak, they just profress you with their mouth but not in their hearts????????

OH ME, i sure dont want to be that kind of chirstian, Sure, we are all going to face battles and be tried, but according to

(1 Pet 4:12 KJV) Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

There was that word REJOICE again!! AND in the same scriptures about going through the trial!!

It is ok to search your heart and soul when a battle hits you-- but DONT WINE AND COMPLAIN!!!!!!!!!! God is not glorified in that satan is.

We are to REJOICE!!!!!! David gives us a great example of rejoicing in the Lord and praying through the battle , lets look at :

Psalms 31:7-24 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities; And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room. Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed. I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my
neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me. I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel. For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life. But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake. Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave. Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. Blessed be the LORD: for he hath showed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city. For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee. O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.”

When you wake up in the morning, begin thanking God for the beautiful day that he hath made. Thank him for his mercy, thank him for all the suffering that he went through for us, thank him for the blood, thank him for your spouse, your children, your job, shoes on your feet, the home you live in, You will find as you begin to REJOICE and thank God for his may blessings, you will soon foget about the saddness of yesterday, and the uncertainties of tomorrow, Set aside time to get up early to begin your day with the Lord!!

there is a song called, ‘ I START MY DAY’ by the kirk talley singers,It talks about how to start you day, if you start you day with a day of thanksgiving, you day will be so different.

When you start you day with you and only you, the enemy can attack stronger and greater, however when you start your day with you and God ---- look out evil!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont you want to be one of those chirstians that hell is afraid of? When we rejoice through the trial, we come out stronger, God could have taken every problem away from us, but he did not, if he did, we would take him for granite, but through the trials, we come out stronger, and stronger, then we can be used of God to go forth and help other people that are facing the battle, God needs some front line soldiers, you can be one when you are rejoicing, but if you are
down and depressed, who are you going to witness to? If we are christians, we should always keep the victory, no matter what!!! God is so great and wants to do so much for us, but it is up to us, How will you begin your day? will you begin it rejoicing no matter what??? This message had to minister to me too, for I am not a morning person. but now when i get up, i get up rejoicing and praising the lord, it makes a big difference in your attitude and outlook on life!!!!
