GOD'S GIFT FOR YOU

Jesus paid for our sins on the cross.
               "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree... "  (I Peter 2:24) 
This free payment is a gift we can receive.
                    "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
                    Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
In the Bible, God tells us all about the Gift He wants to give us; in the Bible, in the book of Romans, we can walk down the Roman's Road and listen to God.
              Romans 3:23  "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God..."
                           God knew that people did bad things long ago and still do bad things today; people think bad thoughts, say bad words, and do bad actions.
             Romans 6:23  "For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." The punishment for sin is to go to hell; God does not want people to go to hell; He wants us to live in heaven with Him when we die.
             Romans 5:8  "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died  for us." God showed His love for us by sending His Son to die on the cross to pay for all the bad things we do.
                 Romans 10:9-10  "That thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
                        Jesus is God's Gift to us, and all we need to do is tell God that we want to accept this Gift from God. 
                 Romans 10:13  "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

If we accept this Gift, we are saved from hell.

If we accept this Gift. we should not brag about it, because "...it is the gift of God... lest any man should boast."
 (Ephesians 2:8-9)
            We did not work for the Gift; we did not pay for the Gift; Jesus did.
            We should thank Him and praise Him for His Gift.

We should tell other people how to get this Gift.
               Jesus wants everyone to come to Him, including children. 
               He told adults to let "...little children to come unto me...." (Luke 18:16)

We all like gifts. 
Nobody should wait to accept God's Gift-Jesus, the Best Gift.
           "...now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation..." 
           (II Corinthians 6:2)
           You can accept Jesus now by saying this prayer.

"Dear God, I agree with Your Words in the Bible about salvation. I admit I am a sinner. 
I am sorry I sinned. I believe that You sent Jesus to die on the cross in payment for my sins. 
I believe He rose again and lives in heaven. I accept Your Gift of Jesus in payment for my sins and for everlasting life with You. Thank You for this Gift. Please help me travel to success—to be the person You want me to be. In Jesus'  Name, amen."
