The long walk to Calvary was filled with love, carved in mercy, and satuated in kindness. Daily Jesus walked under the shadow of the cross. In great love for us, He walked.

With the breaking of each new morning, Jesus arose to give of Himself - to heal, to cleanse, and restore. He knew quite well that His destiny was the lonely hill of Golgotha where He would suffer the agony of our sin, bear the shame, and take upon Himself our guilt; yet, Christ lovingly walked.

Christ walked that lonely, sorrow filled road for you and for me. He died and arose so that we could be forgiven and have eternal life. We must allow the reality of this truth to sink deep into our heart and soul. Because Christ lives, we live. We have been crucified with Christ (dead to sin) and raised (resurrected with Him) to walk in the newness of life.

Christ is our hope of eternal life. The Holy Spirit of God raised Jesus from the dead and now Christ reigns in all power and authority! Because Christ lives, one day we will be resurrected and live eternally with Him.

Sisters in Jesus, be happy for our sins are forgiven and our names written in heaven - on the hand of God Himself!

Because Jesus defeated death, hell, and the grave, we live!
