What does
it mean, to a child of
God, to be held in His
love?
First of
all we need to realize
that our Father God's
love is like no other
love on this earth. No
matter how much our
earthly parents love us,
it pales in comparison to
the love that God has for
us.
God's
love delights our hearts
as He committedly
fulfills His promises of
protection, help, grace,
and direction to us. It
really is awesome that we
can count on Him, trust
Him, and place all our
hope in Him because He
faithfully remains true
to us.
God's
love soothes our emotions
and thoughts in peace. We
may live contentedly
because of who He is. He
is a God and Father of
integrity, honor, and
truth. There is
absolutely nothing on or
in this earth that can
cause our hearts to be
still in the midst of
troubles and trials; but,
we can rest because we
are held in His hands
continually. We do not
have to always understand
why things happen, but we
can know
that our heavenly Father
holds all answers and
will do what is best for
us.
Our
heavenly Father interacts
with us and in our lives
to keep us safe and
secure. He causes us to
grow up in truth and the
end result of His truths
brings joy to us. He is
the One who motivates and
inspires our hearts to
keep going forward no
matter what circumstance
we face. His truths
comforts our hearts in
times of distress. His
love promises us that all
will be okay because He
watching over us, knowing
where we are at all
times.
God's
love gave Jesus as the
sacrifice for our sins,
and Jesus carries us
throughout our life on
earth. Through the
valleys of sadness and
sorrow, He is with us. On
the mountaintop of
victory and joy, He is
there. With His staff and
rod , the Good Shepherd
tenderly takes care of us
throughout all the
seasons of our life.
Jesus
opened our hearts to the
Scriptures that we may
truly live. He has shown
us a far better way to
live and given us higher
ground to live on. He
is our refuge, our
strength, our hope.
