I share in his faith and moral system which is to teach your children Christ above all. My prayers go out to his family as well as the other astronauts' families. Israel again touches the world through the loss of Colonel Ilan Ramon, IAF. His family's legacy as well as his own brings forth to the world a reminder of the struggle of the Jewish People to survive and prosper as God's promised them. Too often we think about minor troubles in our lives, and when something as tragic as this happens, we need to realize that life is precious and we never know how long we have on Earth. A few of the Columbia crew memebers stated before they left that if something happened, they know that the space program will go on and that they are performing a service for America and for exploration. They knew the risks, and they bravely set forth to explore space for America. Just like all of the men in women in the space program and in the Armed Forces risk their lives for America.
