The shuttle explosion happened in my area and debris was found on my street, so it is very real to us in this area.

Being from Amarillo there is a great mourning here for the lost lives of the Columbia. Two of the Astronauts were from TX and Rick Husband was from Amarillo so you can see that this tragedy touched us personally. May their families know that we are all mourning the loss with them and feel deeply for their pain. From one military person to the families, we all do our jobs to the best of our abilities and if God sees fit to take us home then rest assured that we are with him immediately. He is seeing to our needs now. |

I had gone to sleep just before Columbia disintegrated in the clear-blue skies of Texas. My best friend called me and asked if I had heard what had happened. I replied no, I didn't hear what had happened to the shuttle. He had to tell me twice, as I was not fully awake yet to comprehend the gravity of the situation. As we go forward with a possible military strike against Iraq, our armed forces now have 7 new angels to intercede on their behalf before God. May God be with the astronauts' families and the countries that they represented. Their mission was for the benefit of all humanity;MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!!!! Amen.    |

Our heart felt sympathies go out to all of the families and their friends, support team and loved ones.
There are just not any words to express to the families of support and comfort of what they are going through.
I hope and pray they all have a strong faith and belief in our God, & Lord, Jesus Christ as they are the only ones that can give you the kind of comfort, strength, guidance, peace and tranquility, with their loving presence that can give to you
at such a tragic time as this. Just ask and you will receive their presence.
Also that is one thing Americans are that no other country can claim, in so many ways as large as our population is all Americans come togeather as one family and we have all of our arms reaching out to each and every one of you to embrace you in your time of need with all our love.
May God Bless each of you as he has every American to have had such great hero's as your loved ones to take that step of faith for all man kind.
