It was so tragic to again lose space pioneers but I think those pioneers are much better informed of the perils they face daily, more so than their family, friends or the public in general so just as I feel that they didn't become astronauts and cosmonauts for the purpose of becoming martyrs, I think it's important to grieve their departure from life as we know but just as important to also celebrate the heroism of all those pioneers who have perished at the hands of exploration into the unknowns that they encountered and be thankful for the pleasures and comforts that their sacrifices have afforded most of earthling populace. I feel that if they have knowledge of those left here that they would be more fulfilled to know that they made a difference.
