Steve Wilkinson joined us as pastor in June, 2009, along with his wife Suzanne.
Steve and Suzanne come to us with a long and varied ministry background in the United States. "We really enjoy being a team in ministry," says Steve. "Suzanne has at least as much to offer as I do!"
Their work has included mission efforts among disenfranchised people in both the States and in Latin America. "Believing in Jesus as our Savior who forgives our sins and reconciles us to God is at the heart of the gospel. But next to the heart of this good news is extending God's love to others with concern, compassion, and mercy. Faith finds expression in character and service - these things only reinforce it and make it stronger. This is the kind of thing Paul the Apostle meant when he said faith should transform our way of looking at things."
Both love music and are accomplished guitarists; they love the outdoors, kayaking, painting (that's Suzanne), and people. Steve likes jazz guitar and as has climbed numerous high peaks in the U.S. He has his masters from Reformed Theological Seminary in the U.S.
