Coming Back to You

Through the years I thought I've made it
I've tried to prove myself right
Only to realize how wrong I was
And how wretched I was deep within me
So in anguish I cried out.

Lord, hear my prayer this day
For You are my only hope
Show me your ways
Guide me all the way
And I'll follow you
Come whatever may. 

The mysteries in life that I've gone through
Though I may not understand
Why those sufferings and pains
But Your shelter is always there
And it draws me closer to You each day.

Now that I know You're always here for me
I'm giving my life back to You once again
Because I've been running away too long
