OUR TIMES ARE IN HIS HANDS

"Our Times Are In His Hands..."
Psalm 31: 15.

Our times are in his hands
Each moment of the day,
He has given us a gift of life
He came to earth to bring a better way.

His salvation paid the price
To set our spirits free,
And bring us back to Him,
The One who died on Calvary.

His love flows on forever
As time passes away,
We can never recall a lost moment
Or bring back yesterday.

One day time shall be no more
Upon this earth which we know now,
But time shall be eternal
As we sing with a joyful sound.

Tomorrow may never come
So we must live for God today,
We know that our times are in his hands,
And thank him with a grateful heart as we pray.

Loving His Laws

"Great peace have they which love thy law; 
and nothing shall offend them."
Ps. 119: 165

Do we love his laws and seek to obey?
Do we try to please God each and every day?
Is his commands the desire of our hearts,
And to help others find a brand new start?

His law is perfect and will never fail,
His command is for us to go and tell,
We are to share his love and gospel plan,
He came to save and deliver man.

Peace he will give if we love his Law and ways,
And we can lean on our Savior all of our days,
He will keep us in peace if our mind is stayed on him,
What wonderful joy just to be called "his friend."

THE TRUMP SHALL SOUND

"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at
the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound, and the
dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall
be changed."
1 Cor. 15: 52

No man knows the hour
And no one knows the day,
When our blessed Lord shall come
To take his Bride away.

The trump of God shall sound
And in the twinkling of an eye,
The dead in Christ shall rise,
And those alive shall meet Him in the sky.

The night is coming soon,
When man can work no more,
Jesus Christ is coming soon,
To take his children home to heaven's shore.

We do not have to wonder
Or worry as to when our Lord shall come again,
But we must always be prepared to go,
And live our life to be pleasing unto Him.

Trust In The Lord

         "Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land,
and verily thou shalt be fed..  Psalms 37: 3

Trust in the Lord and expect him to answer
He hears every plea and each cry,
He will work in behalf of his children,
Just whisper his name and he will draw nigh.

There is no problem too big for the Savior
There is nothing he cannot do for you,
All that he promises is given so freely,
His Word is faithful and He is so true.

Believe and obey as you trust each day
He is touched by our hurts, pain or woe,
We have a God who hears when we pray,
His promises are faithful and his love He will show.

He will fed his children with heavenly manna
And supply every need according to his riches on high,
We have been promised rest of the Savior,
And a home in glory in the sweet by and by.

Trusting In His Commands

"Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him;
and he shall bring it to pass."  Ps. 37: 5

He never promised things would be perfect
Or always go as we plan,
But He did promise to always be with us,
And always lead as we hold his guiding hand.

There is no other who knows the way leading home,
We can trust him whatever He may say or do,
If we follow on we are never alone,
He is a friend who is always faithful and true.

The reasons why things happen in this life
Are not always explained,
But He is still Lord and Savior,
And his word will always endure and be the same.

If you follow on in his truth and light,
You can know the path will be safe from all harm,
He will go before you in the darkest night,
As you keep leaning upon his strong and everlasting arms.

"For With God, all things are possible"....Mark 10: 27.

THERE IS A GREAT DAY COMING

"...Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into
heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you
 into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
Acts 1: 11.

There is a great day coming
In the sweet by and by,
The Saints of God shall rise
To meet Jesus in the sky.

The evil of this world 
Shall be seen then for only a short time,
As Jesus Christ shall descend to earth,
And draw the final battle line.

All the Armies of this world 
Shall fall in defeat,
And know that Christ is Lord,
And there really is a Judgment Seat.

The battle will be over
In what seems a twinkling of an eye,
As Christ shall speak the word
And slay the opposing armies; destined now to die.

We have nothing to fear,
Or no reason to be dismayed,
If we know Christ the Lord,
We shall reign with him one glorious day.

Promises of God

"For all the promises of God in him are yea,
and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us."
2 Cor. 1: 20.

All the promises of God are "yes and amen"
Everything he promised us is true
On his word one can depend and always stand,
He has the best in mind for you.

Faithful is our Father in all that he has said
And he tells us every care on him to roll,
He will carry all our burdens if we give them all to him,
Our Good Shepherd will keep us... as Sheep in his fold.

As we bring our cares to Jesus and cast them at his feet
We feel our heavy burdens lifted away,
He who carried the weight of this world's sin on his shoulders,
Can surely carry our burdens and help us when we pray.

So claim his ever promise as you call upon his name
He interceeds to the Father on High,
The answer He gives us will always be right,
And we shall behold his face one day by and by.

Jesus Is Our Hope 

"Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord; and the
people whom He hath chosen for his inheritance."
Psalm 33: 12

The flag we call "Old Glory" still flies across this land
Proclaiming our freedom and liberty to all,
We still remain a Nation filled with hope,
There is help and healing when on God's name we call.

Lady Liberty stands with uplifted hand,
Though made of stone, she is still standing strong
Holding her torch looking over this Land,
While those around remember '911' ..yet do not understand.

The events of that September day,
One year ago today,
Are long remembered in all our hearts,
As we lift our voices to God and pray.

Many are gone but not forgotten... into a better land,
Those left behind join in prayer hand in hand,
While reports of terror fill many hearts with fear,
America trembles as she remembers and sheds a silent tear.

We still stand strong and our flag waves on,
With colors of red, white, and blue,
It still stands for freedom,
And "one Nation under God".... so faithful and so true.

We remember the events of that dreadful day
As we go forth with new hope for tomorrow,
Only God can wipe away the tears,
As he heals memories of hurt, pain and sorrow.

When God's people humble their hearts to seek the God of all creation,
He will heal and save as promised, and will give a new relation.
Only God can cleanse a land if it will turn and stand for right,
Only God can heal and forgive....He can turn darkness into light.

So as we recall the events of that day
Let us take time out to pray,
We have been down but we are not out
God has given us hope...So in this race we will stay.
"One Nation...under God...with liberty and justice for all!"
On his name we will depend...on his name we will still call.

"Our Lord hung the stars, bore the stripes, and in Him we will remain free."

PEACE LIKE A RIVER

 "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose
mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee."
Isaiah 26: 3.

Peace like a river can dwell within your soul
God will give you peace within and make your spirit whole.
His joy is the greatest this world has ever know,
Within your heart.. He will put a brand new song.

Love like a river can flow from deep within
As Jesus cleanses and takes away all sin,
His love is boundless and never shall end,
He is your Savior and your dearest friend.

Devotion to the Savior and praises to his name
Will bring his holy presence and you'll never be the same.
His wondrous peace will keep you in life's many storms,
And he will keep you safe within his loving arms.
