PROUD TO BE
AN AMERICAN
Our Fathers and ancestors fought for freedom
Far away in lands on
foreign soil,
They left the safety of their homes and families
To willingly defend us, one and all.

Many lost their life in times of war and strife |
|
Heroes gave all for freedom in this land, |
| Many crossed the seas while loved ones prayed on |
| bended knees, |
|
Brave soldiers marched on in victory and proudly |
| took a
stand. |
|
Today, there are soldiers......who still answer the call, |
|
Fighting in this war for victory, they stand proud and
tall. |
| Our Country stands for God's people and prays for |
| Jerusalem's peace, |
|
Knowing until the coming of the Lord, wars and strife |
| will
never
cease. |
|
We are proud to be called an American, |
|
Who proudly salute the red, white, and blue, |
|
We pray for our country's leaders and soldiers, |
|
May our allegiance to God and country always be |
|
faithful and true. |
|
Brave men and women fighting in the Eastern
|
|
desert are never alone, |
|
God's Spirit goes with them in their path's way, |
|
Our prayers across this land
will help them to |
| bravely take a stand, |
|
We are proud to be an American and give thanks every
day. |
