Jesus Rides The Choo Choo Train

My uncle rides the Choo Choo train
He rides most every day
He doesn't ride it for the fun
He rides to earn his pay

He's ridden it for quite some time
Up and down the track
It sometimes takes him out of town
But always brings him back

Now, there's another train he rides
It doesn't have a track
It only goes one way you see
And will not bring him back

My uncle rides the train of life
He rides this train for free
He boards it every morning
On his knees at Calvary

This train rolls on to glory
Never looking back
It follows God's eternal light
It doesn't need a track

No one buys a ticket
To climb aboard this train
Christ already paid the fare
The day that He was slain

My uncle didn't always ride
This train to Victory
But then one day the Savior called
And said "Come ride with me"

My uncle had to make his choice
To die or be set free
So he turned his back on death and hell
And claimed the victory

Now Jesus rides the Choo Choo train
With my uncle every day
My uncle has to switch the cars
While Jesus lights the way
Thank You Lord
