The warrior stands tall among us
but does not want to stand out
He fights his pain and battles bravely
without a word spoken out
He is quiet, calm, and strong
always with a smile, never a doubt
Never give up..is his motto
pushing himself harder is his way
The only way he has ever known about
This is, he, the bravest of brave
This is, he, ...The warrior

Note from the author: The Warrior is about my son who is 16 years old and suffers from a rare bone and muscle disease that is crippling and progressive with no cure. -Jim F
