"I Have loved you deeply, says the Lord"

(Malachi 1:2)

Apple Blossoms ©

Early in the spring the grass turns green,

And the world unfolds into a beautiful scene.

The sky is blue like baby's eyes,

There is a breeze this is no surprise.

Down the field we travel today,

Because it is the month of May.

The apple blossoms are in full bloom now,

And the farmer has his fields all plowed.

I can smell them as we get real near,

And today the birds are singing I can hear.

Pink and white like a cloud over there,

I want to touch them with special care.

It's hard to believe one day they will be eaten,

Some will be in an apple pie sweetened.

The flower is so soft and pink in my sight,

They are so pretty in the bright sun light.

Who knows if the bee will find some honey,

And the apple blossoms will bring someone money?
