The Christmas Gift Smiles cover the faces Near the fireplaces. Cheer is everywhere The season is here. Shopping for some toy For those girls and boys. Hurrying here and there In the cold winter air. The stockings hang in line Waiting for Christmas time. To see what is inside The stockings held open wide. Everything fades into the night Except the star shining bright. I stare as the angels appear Around the manger there. The tiny Baby is so still In the dark night's chill. God has given His Son As His love gift for everyone. He will bring true joy To men, women, girls, and boys. The true miracle of Christmas God's Son given to us!
