The Ocean In Me
There must be a part of the ocean
That lives inside of me.
When I face a pounding surf
Somehow it sets me free.

With each wave that touches shore
I feel the rhythm in my soul.
Its like a surge of infinate power
That has a hold and wont let go.

I feel the whitecaps beckening me
With passion to join their dance.
I find my heart is in unison
With such harmony and stance.

The pulling force of an outbound tide
Has a magic that is so profound.
Taking my cares far out to sea
For such peace inside is found.

With every single breath I take,
The penetration of salty air
I find solace in my surroundings
Because I know that God is there.
