MARRIAGE LAWS IN GOD'S WORD

ROMANS 1:20 THE INVISIBLE THINGS (celestial things) OF HIM (God) FROM THE CREATION OF THE WORLD ARE CLEARLY SEEN, BEING UNDERSTOOD BY THE THINGS THAT ARE MADE (physical things), EVEN HIS ETERNAL POWER (Word) AND GODHEAD (Father, Heart, Brain); SO THAT THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE.

When there is a terrestrial revelation, there is also a CELESTIAL revelation.

1 Corinthians 5:9 Not to company with fornicators.
Conclusion: The body, of Christ, is not to keep company with those who seek other gods.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Conclusion: To be married, to an unbeliever, is unequally yoked. The celestial minded temple does not think on the same level with the terrestrial minded temple. The Word of God is light, and the word of man, i.e., Satan, is darkness. God’s thoughts are higher than man’s thoughts, and His body has the mind of Christ, which is the Holy Spirit, i.e., mind of God.

1 Corinthians 7:10 Let not the wife (Israel) depart from her husband (Father).
Conclusion: Once married, there is no divorce. Being married is for two to become one. How can one be separated? After knowing the truth, of God’s Word, and turning back to terrestrial mindedness, is as the dog returning to his own vomit, and the sow that is washed, returning to wallow in the mire.

TERRESTRIAL

1 Corinthians 7:14-17 The unbelieving wife is sanctified (becoming one) by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. 15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Romans 14:19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Psalm 34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

1 Corinthians. 7:8-15,27 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled (to restore to friendship or harmony) to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with, him, let him not put her away. And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. Jer.3:1 They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? Shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the Lord.

Malachi 2:16 For the Lord saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

Deuteronomy 24:1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the Lord: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.

Deut.20:7 And what man is there that hath betrothed a wife, and hath not taken her? let him go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man take her.

Matthew 5:32 Whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Matthew 19:4,5,9 Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Mk.10:11,12 Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

Hebrew 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

1 Cor.6:9,10 Know ye not that the fornicator, nor adulterer, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Col.3:5,6 --- The wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

1 Cor.7:32,33,39,40 He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

1 Tim.5:5,6 She that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications, and prayers night and day. But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

Romans 7:1-3 1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Matthew 10:36 A man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Ecclesiastes 9:9 Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun.
