Sirach 4:11-19: Wisdom (Holy
Spirit is all wisdom) exalteth
her children (bodies of God),
and layeth hold of them (chosen
before creation) that seek her. 12: He that loveth her
loveth
life (eternal life); and
they that seek to her early (before
walking in sins of man) shall be filled with joy (Ecclesiastes 11:9,10).
13: He that holdeth her fast (seeks only spiritual knowledge)
shall inherit glory (part of
God Psalms 82:6); and wheresoever she
entereth, the Lord will bless. 14: They that serve her (and no
other god) shall minister (go in) to the Holy One (Father): and
them that love her the Lord doth love. 15: Whoso giveth ear
(can hear spiritually)
unto her shall judge the nations (12
thrones judging 12 tribes of Israel): and he
that attendeth
(seeks after) unto her
shall dwell securely. 16: If a man commit
himself unto her (a living sacrifice), he shall inherit her
(Luke 12:32); and his
generation shall hold her in possession
(it will flow over to his children: Joel 1:3). 17: For at the
first (while walking as a new born babe) she will walk with him by crooked ways
(feeding him morsels of knowledge, i.e., from milk, to meat,
to wisdom: back and forth), and bring fear (realizing all he
has learned is a lie) and dread (dread of giving up man's
thoughts) upon him, and torment him with her discipline
(spiritual battles to burn away the man's thoughts), until
she may trust (never turning back to man's thoughts or words) his
soul (thoughts that feed, and word that comes out of,
the
spiritual heart: is all celestial), and try him (see what
faith he has to stand on the Word) by her laws
(eternal Word
that does not pass away). 18: Then will she return the
straight
way (straight, and narrow, way into the kingdom of God: Mark 1:3.)
unto him, and comfort him (make him know he is secure, in the
eternal life of his soul), and shew him her secrets
(mysteries that man
cannot comprehend). 19: But if he go wrong (turn back to the
terrestrial ways i.e., man's thoughts, words, and works), she
will forsake him (die in your sin), and give him over to his
own ruin (man's thoughts, and words, to burn in the lake of Fire.)
It is not necessary that you understand this now:
I would like to have know it before I was frightened so badly,
however I do not believe I would have understood it anyway: before
the spiritual experiences.
