The Perfect Christmas Gift John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, he sent his only begotton Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."   My Dearest Friends ~ Your gift did not come wrapped up in a box with pretty paper and a big, shiny bow.  Your special gift came as a tiny little baby; born in a manger some 2000 years ago. That's right!  Your special gift is JESUS!  God sent His only begotten Son into the world that you might have eternal life through Him. You see, in order to live eternally in heaven with God, we must be sinless.  Sin entered into the world way back in the Garden of Eden and ever since then, we have been bound by it ~ unable to free ourselves.  In order to be a sinner, all you have to do is break just one of God's Laws, and ALL of us have done that! The Bible tells us in Romans 6:23 ... "The wages of sin is death but the "Gift of God" is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord." There is nothing you can do to earn this gift ~ IT IS FREE! The only thing you can do is accept it! Ephesians 2:8 & 9 says "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourself: it is the GIFT OF GOD, not of works, lest any man should boast." That special Christmas gift, the one God sent on Christmas so many years ago is the most PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFT ever! Right now, right there in front of your computer, won't you bow your head and accept your gift of eternal life?   Pray this prayer: Dear Heavenly Father; I know I am a sinner.  God, I repent of my sins and ask You to forgive me.  I believe that what the Bible says is true.  Jesus came as a babe in a manger, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross and rose again that I might have eternal life in Heaven with you. Father, I accept your Son's sacrifice for me and right here and now, I ask Jesus to come into my heart and be my personal Lord and Savior! I thank you for your gift, the BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT! In Jesus Name I pray ~ Amen!   If you just prayed this prayer ... right now, right this very moment, the angels in Heaven are rejoicing!  Luke 15:7   "I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance." Now that you are a brand new Christian, I am sure your heart is rejoicing; so let's go over by the piano and sing some of those beautiful old Christmas Hymns or some of the more traditional Christmas Carols.  I think they may be still singing some of the fun and funny Christmas Songs for the young and young at heart.  Or maybe, you'd like to go on a read some of the The Stories and Poems of Christmas. Before you do either, though, why don't you go on in the kitchen and grab a snack or a drink.
