Hi ... it is so good to see you! Come on in out of the cold,
and let me take your jacket. Those winter winds sure can send
a chill right through you, can't they? I can't believe it
is Christmas time again. Before we know it, it will
be 2008. My, where does the time go?
I am so glad you came by. Whether you are a
first-time visitor to my cottage or a returning friend, I hope
you have a few minutes to spend with me because there is lots to
see and do here at my Christmas Cottage.
I just love Christmas time and I have cleaned, decorated, baked
and am ready for your visit! But first, why don't you go on
into the kitchen
and get yourself a warm drink. There is coffee and tea,
and hot apple cider. For the
little ones, I have a big bowl of punch or some hot chocolate;
and don't forget to grab one of my Christmas cookies while you
are there. Christmas just isn't Christmas without all those
goodies, is it?
I love music and especially the songs of Christmas so, are you
ready to gather around the piano and sing some of those wonderful
old Christmas Hymns,
or if you'd prefer we could sing some of the traditional
Christmas Carols.
For the young and young at heart, let's sing some of those
fun and funny Christmas Songs!
If you can't remember all the words to your favorite Christmas
song, it's okay, there are plenty of Songbooks
there on the piano.
For those of you who are more interested in some of
The Stories and Poems of Christmas,
why don't you join the group over by the fireplace, where they
are reading some of them. You'll also find some
Christmas
Funnies that I think you will enjoy.
For the children there is a
Coloring Book and for the entire family
a Christian
Christmas Advent Calendar. I am sure you will really enjoy
it. There are things to do, Bible passages to read and songs
to sing for each day from December 1st right through until Christmas Day.
Because I have been so busy caring for my folks, I am late getting
my 2007 Christmas Letter up,
but if you click on the link now, you can catch up on all that has
been happening in my life and with my family this year.
You will also want to go over by the tree
and get your gift before you leave. I have something VERY
SPECIAL for you! On
your way out,
take a look at the awards
and gifts my cottage has received and please stop and sign
my Guestbook (below), so I will have a record of your visit. Enjoy your stay and
please come back soon!
