All dressed in blue,
Your uniform so proudly you did wear,
A calling, not a job they said,
A brave man made a sacrifice
When tragedy hit here.
A normal, crisp September day,
"I'll see you later dear"
Whoever thought that last goodbye
Would bring so many tears.
"They struck the World Trade Center!"
I heard it loud and clear,
My heart was pounding wildly,
As I knew you would be there
To save the people trapped inside,
This was your final act,
To save those whom you did know
From a terrorist attack.
A hero lives inside our hearts
And till we meet again,
Please guide us with your love,
Dear Moe, our hero from above.
