Out of the rubble of the World Trade Center emerged the HERO'S CROSS |

| Two days after the attack on the World Trade Center, amid the smoke and rubble workers found a remarkable 20' cross of steel beams, which fell intact from the north tower when it imploded. The cross landed almost upright and gave the appearance of a God-given sculpture in the middle of what was otherwise an amphitheater from hell. Just as Christ was resurrected on the third day, so the cross was found on the third morning. | ||

| Ironworkers gave it a permanent base and then placed it on the high walkway over West Street. |

As the cross found in the rubble of the World Trade Center reminds
us of the heroes who died that fateful day, there is another cross,
the old rugged cross, that reminds us that JESUS CHRIST, God's
only begotten Son, died two thousand years ago for the sins of all mankind.
![]() The HERO'S CROSS can be seen as another manifestation of the cross of Jesus, which was the worst thing that was ever done, but also the best thing that has ever happened — Christ's victory over death and the promise of eternal life to all that believe and accept Him. Was the HERO'S CROSS just an accident? I don't think so. I believe that God placed it there as a reminder to us ...
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." |
