I'm on my way to New York City!

Leaving home at 5:15 a.m.
Simi Valley, CA

Getting on the Flyaway Bus at 6:00 a.m.
Van Nuys, CA


At 8:25 a.m. aboard Northwestern Flight 332
I headed from LAX for Detroit, MI
my first stop on my way to New York!


The DC10 cruised at an alittude of 33,000 feet.
We were served a breakfast of cheerios, a bagel
with cream cheese, a bananna and orange juice.


We landed at the new Detroit Metro Airport
3:10 p.m.

Inside the Northwestern Terminal
I had a layover of almost 2 hours

Northwestern Flight 1876
took off, headed for JFK International Airport at 5:10 p.m.

we drove over to the
Port Authority ESU Command Center at JFK

PAPD Officer Sean Russell drove me to my hotel, but first
we stopped for New York pizza and a soda at
"Pizza 2000" on 2nd Avenue

on the way to my hotel


The Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers
where I had a very nice south facing room on the 14th floor.
