April 25, 2002 My New York Friends The time has come for me to say good-bye to my new friends from New York.  I have had a WONDERFUL three days here in New York City.  I want to thank Lt. Kevin Hassett and the PAPD ESU for making this trip possible and for the wonderful time they showed me while I was here.  Thank you also to P.O. Doris (Dee) Caridi for being my tour guide.  To Arlene and Chris Howard, thank you so much for the beautiful gifts you gave me.  I will cherish them always!  And Kevin, thank you so much for all the goodies, each one is very special to me. THANK YOU!

The ESU truck we are standing in front of will be dedicated to the memory of PAPD ESU Officer George Howard. I do have full pictures of the truck (it is beautiful!), but I have promised Lt. Hassett I will not post them until it is dedicated and in service. Thanks for the sneak-peak Kevin!
