P.O. Doris Caridi met me in the Hotel Lobby at 9 a.m. and we were off for a GREAT walking tour of Midtown Manhattan

As we walked through Midtown Manhattan we passed many of the famous Department Stores of NYC.  We went into Tiffany's where we saw the famous Tiffany Diamond, but they didn't serve us breakfast (grin), so we stopped in a little coffee shop for coffee and a muffin.  Back on the streets, we walked by Radio City Music Hall, and through Rockefeller Center.   We went to Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Trump Tower, and the Plaza Hotel, across from Central Park.

Later, we got in the car and drove down Broadway past Times Square, through the Theatre District, the Garment District, past the Flatiron Building, through Greenwich Village and SoHo, and past the New York City Civic Center on our way to the Port Authority's WTC Command Center, where we had lunch with the officers that are working at Ground Zero.
