April 24, 2002 Manhattan at Night

On my last night in New York, a friend from my church was also in New York.  Marilyn is an flight attendant for American Airlines and she had a flight into JFK and a layover for the night.  Her hotel happened to be just across the street from mine.  She came over to my hotel, and we ventured out on the streets of Manhattan to find a place to eat.  Neither of us wanted to spend a lot of money, and restaurants are pretty expensive.  She didn't want chinese food and I didn't want italian food, so we ended up at a nice little restaurant, Libby's.  She had a hamburger and fries and I had shrimp.  It was fun being with someone from home.   After dinner, we walked around midtown Manhattan and took a few pictures.  It is really hard to get decent pictures at night because of all the lights.
