HI,  Y'ALL!

100 (or so) Things About Me I'm a child of God ~ born of the Spirit!!!!! I worship at a Southern Baptist Church. I'm a Republican because of conservative ideals. I'm a born and raised Texan! I love Texas!! I have been married to Wayne for 32 years ~ since 1974! I was married before for three years. From the first marriage, I have two children. I love my kids! My husband adopted the kids when they were in the second and third grades. Married since the kids were 2 and 3, but we couldn't get the adoption done until then. My kids, Laura and Jason, adore their dad!! My husband adores his kids! I have 5 grandbabies! I love my grandbabies!!! My third grandson will be born on February 5th ~ C-section! I have two dogs ~ both white, freckled Terriers ~ one smooth-haired and one wiry haired! The smooth one, Miss Millie, is a Jack Russell. The wiry one, Cubby Dub, is a mix. I love them terribly!! I love my computer! I love making graphics. I love learning! I love Crostic puzzles. I love Logic puzzles. I love Cryptograms. I like to read ~ a lot!! I love kids! I have kept children most of my adult life ~ either as a Day Home or a Day Care. I love to teach! I taught Sunday School and children's choir for years!! I love to watch children learn. I love my parents. I love my in-laws. My son and his wife have been married for 11 years after dating for 7 years. My daughter has just found her soul-mate ~ they've been married for 6 years. My husband is an excellent example for our son-in-law in how to love and raise children he inherited! I love my husband, still!! I have been blessed in choosing the most amazing man ~ with my bad health, he's become the chief cook and bottle washer with precious little complaining! Oh, yes ~ I have a bad heart and Lupus and Polymyositis. I use a cane to walk. I use a wheelchair to shop and go to church. I love to build web pages! Like children, I never know how they will turn out, but they always make me smile! My husband is a Deputy and Jail Administrator and Asst.Fire Chief. My daughter is a teacher. My son is a K9 handler with another Sheriff's department. My daughter-in-law is a nurse. My son-in-law is a Lieutenant with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. I am blessed. I like all the CSI TV programs. I love MONK!! I like Law and Order. I can sew. I can crochet. I can play a piano. I can play an organ. I can play a guitar. I don't play any instrument well! I can read music, but I play by "ear"! This is harder than I thought it would be! I like board games. I like Scrabble the best. I love the mountains. I love the beach. Hmmm.... That's only 57 things about me... It's getting harder!! I love Paint Shop Pro!! I'm learning to do PSP Tutorials. I like to do Graphics Challenges. I like meeting people on the web through webrings that tell you what those people are all about! I'm not a chance-taker.... any more. One of my best friends has been my best friend since the 6th grade. Another best friend has been since about the 9th grade. I like Country music. I like "oldies" rock. I like gospel music. I like Contemporary Christian music. I don't like operas and arias. I do like musicals. I like to watch college one-act plays. I love coffee. I love lemonade. I like Bailey's and Cream. I like some wines. I don't drink alcohol but once a year. A drunk driver killed my Dad. I smoked for 33 years. I quit that love affair "cold turkey"! My heart hasn't thanked me yet ~ not even one time! I used to be into teaching "Creative Cussing 101". I still like to shock my mother!! My Daddy was a sailor. My Daddy cussed behind my Mama's back!! My Mama, matriarch to 5 grown children, 9 grown grandchildren, and 13 and a half great-grands so far, is still a "virgin" in her mind!! I love to tease my precious Mama. My husband was a sailor. My husband has a "colorful" vocabulary, too. My parents' mothers, Granny and Greatma, were precious friends of mine. My Mama's father, Paw-paw, was also a great friend. My Daddy's father had many problems ~ I think he was an alcoholic on Listerine!! I have been very close to my mother's family ~ always! I like to read true-crime stories. My favorite author is Ann Rule. What makes people "tick" is my favorite trivial pursuit. I've yet to understand why people kill. I won't even try to understand any form of child abuse. I know my Lord had a choice, too.
