On Gossamer Wings

Gossamer...
something light and delicate yet strong, such as the spider web, the wings of a butterfly, things that appear fragile, but somehow possess a much greater strength than seems possible in the natural. Just more confirmation of the love of a Heavenly Father that watches over HIS creation.

"On Gossamer Wings" was designed to be a place of encouragement for anyone who stops by for a visit. I'm very thankful that you found your way here. My name is Patti and my husband and I live in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas.
This site is dedicated to everyone who has managed to survive the harsh storms of life. Sometimes the most fragile appearing things, such as a butterfly, even the beautiful spider web can withstand the harshest of weather. I remember looking out my kitchen window after the remnants of a hurricane had made its way up from the coast. The storm had been violent, yet there, arrayed in sparkling beauty, was a spider web still intact, glistening with raindrops. Unbelievable? No, not when you consider the love our Heavenly Father has for even the smallest of HIS creatures. I've known women that seemed fragile, but when the storm was finally over, they were even more beautiful, because they sparkled with the wonder of the Grace of GOD. We may be woven of gossamer, but we have the underlying strength of steel that comes from knowing GOD who is in control of the storm.

Gorgeous,
Gossamer,
Gentle,
yet
Glorious
in
GOD's Grace.

Rejoice not against me, oh mine enemy:
when I fall, I shall arise;
when I sit in darkness,
the Lord shall be a light unto me.
Micah 7:8

Good Morning: I am the LORD your GOD.
Today I will be handling all of your problems.
Please remember that I do not need your help.
If the devil happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle,
DO NOT attempt to resolve it.
Kindly put it in the SFJTD (something for Jesus to do) box.
It will be addressed in MY time, not yours.
Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it or attempt to remove it.
Holding on or removal will delay the resolution of your problem.
If it is a situation that you think you are capable of handling,
please consult me in prayer to be sure that it is the proper resolution.
Because I do not sleep nor do I slumber,
there is no need for you to lose any sleep.
Rest my child.

If you need to contact me, I am only a prayer away.

Love Eternally,
The LORD your GOD

P.S. Please pass this on to all my other children.

Dear God,
So far today, I've done all right.
I haven't gossiped.
I haven't lost my temper.
I haven't been greedy, grumpy
nasty, selfish, or overindulgent.

I'm very thankful for that.
But in a few minutes, God,
I'm going to get out of bed;
and from then on, I'm probably
going to need a lot more help!
Amen.
