Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him,
and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth
shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

The Rapture
This old world does not have long to stand
Before we hear the sounds of that heavenly band.
Coming to rapture out His saved church
But others will stay wherever they may perch.
For you see to fly to the clouds to meet God's Son
Your soul for Him must have already been won.
No time or place as the rapture takes place
For if you're not saved you shall not see His face.
Then the dead in Christ shall be first to
Burst forth from their graves then the ones
That are still alive and belong to Him
Will have to be brave until God once more
Reaches down and brings the rest of the saved
To fulfill the promise that to all of us He willfully gave.
Then forever we shall be able to live together
To shout and sing and with praises to give
To the one who shed His life's blood
For you and for me;
And live forever in His presence:
His Kingdom we shall finally see.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
