The Messenger
One day a messenger came by
With a message of love for me
But she said, "This isn't just for you.
You must pass it on don't you see."
"My message, it consists of love
But it's not just any love
It is the love that comes from the One
who sees you from above.
Yes my message consists of love
Of a very special kind
And like I did, you must open for it
and then receivers find
who will then be messengers too.
And the way you spread the news
Must be by giving love and faith
To others, then you'll never lose.
Thus a witness you'll become
And this you mustn't neglect
To be a messenger angel for someone
And love and care and protect."
Having said this, my messenger left
But what she said rang in my ears
That's how I came to write my messages for you.
Hope they help you through your fears.
