My Shepherd

My shepherd always watches me
He holds me by the hand
He's always there and won't let go
that I now understand

Sometimes he walks behind me and
sometimes he's by my side
Most often, though, in front of me
makes way so I don't slide

My shepherd has a guiding light
so I'll always be safe
wherever I may go with him
I follow him in faith.
