Jesus Christ. Every task is important.

C.) Knowing Your Spiritual Gift Will Help You Fit In.

Spiritual Gifts are so important.
They are mentioned in at least four passages of scripture:
1 Corinthians 12:28, Ephesians. 4:11-12, Romans 12: 4-8, & 1 Peter 4:10-11.

Your Talent is Your Gift from God.
What You Do with it is Your Gift back to God.

D.) SBC does not use the Gift of Tongues in worship

For the Following Reasons:

1.) The "glosse" tongues (unknown language) in the Corinthian Church were
for personal edification Only, Not for building up others - - - 1 Corinthians 14:4.
This is the opposite of the "dialekto" tongues (unknown language) in the
book of Acts, which was used to evangelize.

2.) Corporate worship is to build everyone up, not just One person - - - 1 Corinthians 14:7-12.

3.) Unknown tongues Confuse unbelievers - - - 1 Corinthians 14:23.

4.) Unknown tongues were not intended to be used in corporate worship - - - 1 Corinthians 14:19-20.
What occurs in corporate worship is to be under the control of the worship leader
- - - 1 Corinthians 14:22-23
