With a motion of my hand, Creation sprang into being. I fashioned clay. Man was born. A blast from my nostrils And man embodied a soul. With my own hands I molded a woman for him to love. Songs have been sung to honor me, Poetry written to glorify my name; History carried generation to generation. I Am THAT I Am. Yesterday Today Forever. Always the same, I will never go away. I Am THAT I Am. No beginning, no end. Noah built the mighty ark. Surviving the rain-drenched land. Abraham bound Isaac to the altar. I provided a ram. Moses stood on hallowed ground. I gave my Law into his hand. The Hebrew children ran to my arms. I enfolded them, delivered them. A stroke of my finger. They crossed on dry land. Manna rained from Heaven. I fed them forty years in the desert. Rahab flew the scarlet banner because she Believed. My salvation enveloped her soul. On my command, Jericho fell. But Rahab stood tall and unharmed. Hannah cried till I heard her Heaven. I blessed her womb with Samuel. I Am THAT I Am. Yesterday Today Forever. Always the same. I will never go away. I Am THAT I Am. The First The Last. David chose a stone. I chose David. The giant was slain. David danced before me. I called him 'The apple of my eye'. David wept, prostrate, upon his face. I forgave. Solomon sought my advice. I granted wisdom. Who, but I, could have lanced the boils on Job's body; Or restored him a hundred fold? Isaiah 'saw' my Holiness and cried out with his unclean lips. I touched him and purified him. I made him white as snow. Jonah ran from me. I allowed him to be carried in the belly of a whale, to contemplate his rebellious actions. In three days I delivered him to the shore. He traveled back to Ninevah. He brought the Message of repentance to my people. Jonah sulked in the shadows. I taught him compassion for the needy soul. The furnace cooled at my touch. I was the fourth man in the fiery blaze. I was there in the writing on the wall. As they stood mystified. I Am THAT I Am. Yesterday Today Forever. Always the same, I will never go away. I Am THAT I Am. The True God. Mary grew in favor in my sight. I overshadowed her womb. I provided THE LAMB. I gave her HIS Name. I blessed the womb of Elizabeth. Named my forerunner, John. Simeon knew me when he held me in his arms. Anna knew whom I was taken into the Temple. Mary Magdalene wept in her piteous estate. I touched her suffering heart. She knew me as the Lover of her Soul. Precious oils she used in my anointing. When she heard my voice. When I spoke her name. She called me Master. Walking the streets of my Jerusalem, I wept for her desolate condition. I cried knowing She would not receive me. Would not know me when She saw ME. I still weep over Her. Encountering the crooked tree on Golgotha, I carried the burden for ALL Mankind. I laid down my life...willingly. No one took it from me! MY Blood flowed freely, For ALL who would believe. The sword thrust to my heaving side fulfilled prophecy. I died. The death shroud marked my face. The world's decay sealed the tomb. As promised, I shook off the stench of the grave. In three days, I ROSE. The Keys of life and Death in my hands. I Am THAT I Am.
