" REJOICE! REJOICE! "

Dear Christian, has life not been what you have expected,
not what you have hoped? Are your dreams dwindling,
fading from sight -- the days filled with uncertainties?
Are your nights void of rest, as the events
of the day replay and plague your mind?
Are responsibilities avoided, tasks left unfinished?
Are words spoken and unspoken haunting you?

Have the mountains you have faced grown steeper,
littered with jagged rocks and debris?
Do gathering storm clouds squeeze out the sunshine's warmth ---
roaring thunder exploding more often in your ears?
Is the armor you wear riddled with fresh indentions
from lightening strikes?

Do you feel the foul tainted breath of the toothless lion,
hot upon your neck? Does he stalk ever close to your dwelling,
sniffing out blood like a pack of rabid wolves?
Does your resolve slip when Confusion, and his cousin,
Fear knock persistently at your door?
Do temptations, trials, burdens lay heavy as a shroud
`round about your shoulders?

Ah, Dear Christian, you are not alone. For all who are
called by His Name have been so afflicted thru the ages.
You say you have cried to our Father for understanding,
for deliverance, for healing? But all you hear is
the echo of your own cries. You say you have lain
in your sorrow, bewildered by the Father's silence
and then you have withdrawn into yourself, to lick your
wounds. Dear Christian, do not faint. Now is NOT the time
to falter. Now is NOT the time for your feet to be trapped
in the quicksand. Come out from under your bed.
Find comfort knowing you are not alone!

"Rejoice in the Lord alway
and again I say Rejoice."
Philippians 4:4

"Rejoice and be exceedingly glad,
for great is your reward in heaven:
for so they persecuted they the prophets
which were before you."
Matthew 5:12

Hear me, Dear Christian. I offer you words ripe with Hope.
Hope to inspire you as you run the 'good race'.
Encouraging words to keep you focused on the prize.
Words pulsating, quickened with Life. Hear them all,
allow them to saturate your soul, mind and heart.
Hold them tenderly in your hands. Invite them to transform you
into a Conqueror. They are promises to you and to me.

" Press toward the mark for the prize
of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. "
Philippians 3:14

" Nay, in all things we are more than
conquerors, thru him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present,
nor things to come. Nor height,
nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us,
from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. "
Romans 8: 36-39

Dry your eyes, Dear Christian, you are on a journey.
When time is ripe, as fruit on the trees,
you will receive what you seek.
Until then, study, reach, prepare,
stretch, grow in Grace and Knowledge.
Square those shoulders. Face the Enemy head on.
Don't let him see you flinch. Instead,
let him witness the Print of Blood
of the Crucified, Resurrected Christ upon your soul.
Take back your life - then surrender it
at the foot of the Cross.

Stay on your knees till you can rise with deep
convictions, knowing God will NOT leave you
powerless, not leave you to fight the battles on your own.
He will NOT be mocked by Satan forever. He WILL avenge
and restore what has been stolen from His children since the beginning.
Until then, let these words be your Battle cry!

" I am crucified with Christ:
nevertheless I live;
yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:
and the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by the faith of the Son of God,
who loved me, and gave himself for me."
Galatians 2:20

When the day is done, when your desires have been
lost in God's desires;
when the surrender of 'self' is complete,
lift yourself from your knees.
Seek your bed for rest.
In the still quiet of night, listen,
and hear the gentle whisper of The Holy Spirit.
He will bring to you the comfort and guidance you seek.
For you He offers the same comfort and guidance
He has encouraged us all with,
as we sought the Father's Will.

' You have been afflicted...to be blessed.
You have been blessed...to be afflicted.
Persevere...persevere... persevere in the face of adversity.'

Hear Him as He brings to you the Promise of Jesus Christ.

" I am with you always,
even unto the end of the world."
Matthew 28:20b

Close your eyes. Allow the sweet aroma of The Prince of Peace
to sweep thru your tumultuous soul. Sleep. Sleep within His arms,
secure, knowing all is well in the Master's hands.

REJOICE!      REJOICE!      REJOICE!

and AGAIN, I say,

REJOICE!,

for GREAT is your reward in Heaven ~~~

" ...To him that overcometh will I give
to eat of the tree of life,..."
Revelations 1:7b

~~~ WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS! ~~~
" You are of God, little children
and have overcome them:
because
GREATER IS HE THAT IS WITHIN YOU
THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD. "
I John 4:4
