Said
the Father to
the Son "Pack
your soul,
there's work to
be
done"
The
Son
turned, looking
His Father
square in the
face,
As
His
Father
said
"Son,
I am sending
you to earth to
heal a failing
race".
Without
rebuke,
He
said "I'll go,
And
take with me
your purity,
your love and
your
grace".

He
left heaven to
enter a womb.
The
womb He entered
was of girl
named
Mary:
Whom
at a very young
age was blessed
with
faith,
He
was to be born
at a certain
time and in a
certain
place.
It
all happened
just as
planned.
He
was born in a
manger,
with
donkeys,
cows and a
lamb.
He
was hated by
Herod, the
territorial
king, but loved
by a
few.
Those
that
loved Him
already knew,
That
the world would
despise Him
because
of
His
Father,
A
father they had
never known or
ever wanted to.
As
time
past
and
years gone by,
He studied the
scriptures
And
so concluded
that the
written
words were all
Holy inspired,
Every
word truth, not
one a
lie.
His
first miracle
was changing
water to wine.
He didn't stop
there;
Knowing
there wasn't
much time,
Before
the world would
condemn Him,
By
way
of the Jewish
council's law
bending
hand.
Come
Passover, He
summed His
disciples to
share in His
last
meal.
They
were all
oblivious to
the
circumstances
that
now,
To
Him, had
become
so
real.
After
supper, His
disciples
slept
under the stars
in a near by
olive
grove.
It
was that same
night and under
those same
trees, the Son
wept.

The
Son to the
Father said
"Your
ways I've
taught and
your
promise's
I've kept,
But
this cup you've
poured me is
filled with
vile
and
death.
"I
pray, Take this
cup from me, Oh
Father, My God.
"But
if it's your
will,
I'll
drink
of it ".
Said
the Father to
the Son,
"Yes,
drink, drink it
all, I am with
You, be
not
afraid".
Blood
now beaded on
the Son's
sweating brow,
And
again He
prayed,
"Oh
Father
spare these
chosen ones,
And
show mercy on
those that
have
strayed."
The
time had come
for the Savior
to save;
He
would do it all
through
death
and a borrowed
grave.
At
the cross His
Father left Him
all
alone,
This
was a first,
because from
the beginning
of time to now,
They
were as
close
as rock is to
stone.
Things
went from bad
too worse
And
about
the
ninth
hour the Son
cried to the
Father,
"Oh
Father, My God,
why hast
thou
forsaken
me?"
With
the world's
sins heaped
upon His head,
taking His last
breath,
He
humbly said,
"It is
finished".
The
Roman soldiers
had to
agree,
As
they
look upon the
cross that was
fashioned from
a
tree.
Hanging
there
lifeless
with His blood
on the ground,
Yes,
they thought,
it's over, the
crucifying is
done.
The
only one left
was a
tear-stained
mother, weeping
for Her
Son.
The
world thought
it had done a
great and noble
deed,
By
eliminating
the
one
whom had come
from the most
holy of
seed.
Little
they knew that
on
the
third day the
Son would
ascend,
Back
to His Father
where it
all
began.
From
the very hour
the lamb was
slain, angels
sang and
heaven
Proclaimed;
He truly is and
was and always
will be God's
only
Son.
This
writing ends
the way it
begun, side by
side, Father
and Son.
Who
knows
when
the Father
again will say,
"Son,
on earth
there's work to
be
done,
Sound
the trumpet,
for now is the
hour, now is
the
day!"

In
His first
coming,
He
came alone in
meekness,
peace, love and
mercy
In
His second
coming, He will
come in a blaze
of
glory,
light
that's never
shone
before.
With
thousands upon
thousands,
and
ten thousand
times ten
thousand angels
by His
side.
Are
you ready
?

"Behold,
I am coming
soon! My reward
is with me, and
I will give to
everyone
according to
what he has
done. I am the
Alfa and the
Omega,
the
first
and the last,
the beginning
and the end."
Revelation
22:
12-13
